Article 2 — Registering an AI use case

The AI Register is the heart of govn.ai. To add a use case: AI Register → New AI use case, then work through the 9-section wizard (Identity, Business context, AI characteristics, Data, Users & oversight, Decision & customer impact, Risk dimensions, Regulatory considerations, Review). Your draft auto-saves between steps.

The four risk dimensions — data sensitivity, decision impact, autonomy, customer impact — automatically compute the use case's tier (Low / Medium / High / Prohibited). When ready, Submit to enter the approval workflow.

Tip: turn on AI intake assistance (Settings → AI features) to get AI-suggested risk dimensions that you review and confirm.
